Chi-Town Baby!!! Yup, that's hombre and I in Chicago! Now why are we all in Chicago? Because we
wanted a slice of deep dish pizza, and thus we flew 3.5 hrs for it! haha, nah, it wasn't like that.
But somehow food always gets us excited about our trips! This time around we went for a quick
get-away weekend and it was quite nice!
Right after getting off the airplane at O'Hare, we rode the train to downtown, about an hr ride,
then found Giordano's pizza and we checked into our hotel, Hyatt Regency, and waited for 3 others
to arrive! That night was a busy night for sure! We walked to the Navy pier, then met up with V's
cousin at Lawry's for some prime rib, then off to John Hancock building for some drinks up at the
95 or 96th floor at the awesome awesome nightscape of the city view!!! The night wasn't over yet,
then we took a cab to the more lively part of the city and stayed there for a bit! Awesome times!!!

The next day we went to the Field's museum and took the archtecture tour on the boat, which was
the best way to spend 2 hrs if you only have 2 hrs in Chicago! Lots of history about the city and
the skyscraper buildings around it! Then afterward, we met up with more friends at Japonis, a
fusion Japanese restaurant! After quickly finishing our dinner, we took another cab to watch
Wicked! It was a real good show, an awesome production, but I was a bit tired from the nights b4,
didn't catch much zzzz's and just ate, so I dozed off a few times! haha. But kept awake for the
rest of the show! After coming back to the hotel, we chilled some more at the hotel.

We came back fairly early on Sunday, and I was so tired that I slept for 6 hrs in the afternoon,
this was due to getting about 10 hrs total for the three previous nights put together. All in all,
it was a real nice get-away! All be it tiring, but for sure we got a taste of what it is to live
in Chi-Town for 2 nights! But of couse as with any trip, it's the friends and the company that you
go with that makes it a great trip! Lots more funny stories and whacky and silly moments! At one
point, we took a cab, and we stuffed 5 people in the back (that's 4 guys, 1 girl), and Laomedon
and cab driver in the front! V really wanted his White Casle burner, but it was not to be cuz I
wasn't willing to travel to the ghetto area at midnight just for a small burger! Maybe I would
go only if it was some deep dish burger, hehe j/k. CHI-TOWN BABY!!!
