This year fishing on the pond seems to have become very popular. I've seen six boaters including this one, compared to none the nine previous years I've lived here. I believe there's a boat ramp to the south, at the Providence end. You can't eat the fish (touching the water isn't even recommended) so it must be the sport of it that attracts them. There are some big bass in Canada Pond.
