This is Middle-earth on private farmland near Matamata in the North Island of New Zealand, where the Hobbiton Movie Set from 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit' film trilogy was filmed
The set has been completely rebuilt and can be seen as it appeared in the films.
