Queen Anne's lace

January 2012 Challenge - Patterns and Shapes

Queen Anne's lace / Anthriscus sylvestris
I love this plant. Each summer the flowers appear and I am so keen to photograph them
Queen Anne's Lace, also called "Wild Carrot," is a common plant in dry fields, ditches, and open areas.
It was introduced to NZ from Europe, and the carrots that we eat today were once cultivated from this plant.
