Even after falling down the cliff over 10 years ago, this Pohutukawa tree still thrives under the cliff.
Many times it is splashed with salt spray, but every year the leaves remain and each summer it comes out in flower
Pohutukawa are known as New Zealand's native Christmas tree
because of the bright red blooms which decorate the trees during the Christmas/summer season.
