Cliff face

My 29th Face of March

Every year parts of the cliff face disintegrate and fall into the water, especially during or after storms.
Sometimes whole trees fall down the cliff and their roots end up taking lots of soil and rocks with them.

They say we lose several feet of seashore from erosion each year. Here in Texas, after a hurricane, the houses on the second street from the beach become beachfront property! Lovely composition and rugged sea make this a good photo! V

The changing face of nature. A fantastic and beautiful shot. No wonder people want to live there, even if the ocean gets closer as the cliff recedes! V
