Gate 25 - Cows Gate

Small farm here - only a few acres and owners keep a few beef for fattening.
I think the cows / steers realise their future and are waiting at the gate hoping to escape...

There's also "the grass is always greener on the other side" too. These steers do look a little forlorn but it's a beautiful photo!

In Texas, we are famous for our beef cattle. I love beef and really don't feel that bad about it. Mother Nature is far more cruel than the rancher.

We do the same thing to keep the grass down (fire risk) and its always a sad day when the truck comes to pick them up.
