He is a four year old Golden Retriever.
Yesterday he had his spleen removed because of cancer.

Murphy is a beauty! Sadly, it has been a short season for Murphy at four years. I have lost my last two goldens to cancer and it still hurts badly to think about it. God speed, Murphy!

Awwwww......poor baby. I've read so much about cancer in dogs being related to dry food diets. Unfortunately, retrievers of all types seem to be very vulnerable to cancer. There's just too much of it among ALL the breeds. Will send good thoughts for his health.
