This represents the typical style of method of bridge building that the Kam people have done for hundreds of years. Many of the new wind rain bridges employ cement and modern construction methods but this bridge that dates from the middle of the 20th century was built with traditional materials. Inside of this bridge are paintings from the Cultural Revolution depicting scenes of that period.
