This is the eastern side of the village from a southern persepective looking northeast. Terracing can be seen in much of the photograph. Rice and corn predominate with the cleared hillsides to the upper right populated with tea trees used for producing tea seeds from which tea tree oil is extracted. Tea trees, Camellia oleifera, the tea trees used in this area is a very important crop as the oil is a valuable food crop used in cooking.
