Wu Shun Jun started practicing healing at the age of 12. In 1991 he received a commemorative honor for saving a man's life. The man treated by Wu Shun Jun had a cerebral vascular accident (stroke) two years earlier and could not walk. The hospital sent this man home after two years of treatment telling him and his family they could no longer help him and that he would die soon. The patient had been on oxygen and was unable to continue receiving oxygen at home due to finances. Wu Shun Jun was asked by the man's relatives to help him. After 6 months of medical care by Wu Shun Jun the man was able to walk and perform many of the daily activities of living.

When Wu Shun Jun goes out to collect the plants he uses for his medical practice there is a song that he sings. This song is to help in the collecting of curing medicinal plants and is important to his practice. He keeps a large store of dried plants on premises. In this image he is discussing some of the plants he has on hand.

Wu Shun Jun treats people from his and neighboring villages. Veterinarian medicine is also within his scope of practice. His son is being taught the art of healing. Wu Shun Jun's wife also assists him with the practice.
