Neva

Although located absolutely in the middle of nowhere, Neva was once a large station with a multi-track yard. The 0.802 m gauge line HFJ to Fredriksberg generated a fair amount of traffic and the required reloading to- and from the standard gauge was labour intensive. The HFJ branch to Fredriksberg was closed in 1962, which more or less made the station obsolete.

Today, almost no signs are left from this past glory. The Inland railway section Lesjöfors-Vansbro lost its passenger traffic back in 1969 and freight traffic ended in 1974.
