The trolleys are surprisingly silent as they pass by at some 10kph. It may sound slow, but when you watch it closely it is after all about 3 meters per second.
The carrying steel cable is held in place just by its own weight, the weight of the trolleys and the wire tension. The cable can move slightly transversely in these holders so a fair amount of lubricant needs to be added.
