The last remains of the Swedish strategic steam reserve, established during the 1950s was an engine shed at Litsnäset, a few kilometers north of Östersund.
Although it was not a complete surprise to us spectators what was in there, it was a spectacular event to see the doors swing open and a part of a tender becoming visible. These two locomotives were put into this shed in 1971
