Just a cool mask I picked up in New Orleans last June..
I keep it above a lamp, right under the stairwell.. right where it archs up into a triangle.
Something about it..

I agree, it's somewhat scary! But the photo is well taken, well lit, invites the viewer to puzzle it out...

Hmmmm, ... definitely not a "manly man" kind of lamp! Kind of disturbing to have this peering down on me sleeping! I'd have to "accidentally" break it!
