shows a picture plate of College Avenue Baptist Church, and Annie Maude
Stodghill holds up a tile purchased by Hortense Day which has a picture on
it of the old Jones School, about five north of Jacksonville on Highway 441.
The old structure still stands and so do the memories. Behind these ladies are
plates, plaques, and tiles displayed on the wall in Stanley and Faye Wells's Store
in Jacksonville. They welcomed the Merrymakers in so they could enjoy the cool
air inside. Stanley and Faye are doing a great job promoting the history of Jacksonville.
