No big deal right? That’s what I thought too. One problem though, … it seems that all
the wimmin folk I live with, (wife Gerie, daughter Allison and step-daughter Alyssa), all
thought that my old glasses were old fashioned and out of style. How could this be? I’ve
only been wearing the same frames for over 15 years now. Guys pretty much tend to think
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Well, the old ones worked just fine; … after all I could
focus the camera and look at pretty girls. What else does a guy need? Nevertheless, it became
annoying being referred to as “Mr. Magoo” and “Coke Bottle Glasses” and “Old Owl Eyes” so I
finally gave in and let Gerie pick out some new frames for me. She thinks they’re handsome,
stylish and modern, … not to mention that they make me look younger. So what do you think?
Is it that much of a difference? (Shrugging shoulders.)
Ah well, at least the wimmin folk are happy.
