Lloyd's Building on a Dim Day

The Gods are conspiring against PaD. There's too much work to do, I never seem to be at home and the
sun has not made an appearance in what seems to be weeks. So I do what I can.

This is another shot of the Lloyd's building in London's financial district, not far from where I work.
I am not very happy with the shot; I had the ISO tuned way up because I was clicking indoors earlier,
so there is a lot of noise. Ugh, but it was the best of a poor lot. Someday I will be able to take
a shot of the sun reflecting from the piping. That is if the sun ever appears.

Click here for a nightime view of another part of the building.

I think the noise adds to the industrial look. Cool.

I think the noise adds to it. I get a nice gritty futuristic Terry Gilliam/Brazil type feeling from this shot. I like it!

What you might consider a flop, another might see as Art. I actually find this picture very artful. The strucutre is very interesting and the angle you took it from places extra emphasism to this. At first glance I thought this was a B&W, you fooled the eye! Nice composition. Jim.

What an interesting looking building! This is probably the worst time of year for PAD with the dark nights, it can only get better!!
