Every year the owners of Van Wingerden open up their beautiful facility for visitors. Hundreds of thousands of poinsettias amaze and delight, along with other colorful varieties of plants. Musicians entertain, refreshments are served, and visitors go home with a plant and wonderful images (hopefully) if they've brought their cameras. I think part of the generosity in holding this event is an effort on the part of management to let the public know about a very important ministry started by the founder of the greenhouses.
