This image was made by Rube39 from the Fuji Talk forum at dpreview.com. I toned down the flash highlights by putting a gaussian layer under a copy of the image and bring thing the toned down parts by painting through a layer mask. I then merged the layers and adding a blank layer with Soft Light Blend mode and painted with black at 10% opacity to darken areas that were still too highlighted. I may have taken too much glint off her nose. Oh...just remember I also selected her teeth, desaturated the yellow and lightened a bit. Click on "Previous" to see the original
