Monarch Butterfly on Swamp Milkweed

Wouldn't you know it? A monarch, first this summer, showed up and all I had to capture it was my phone!

It's on swamp milkweed which hasn't bloomed, but flitted from leaf to leaf. Hopefully it left some eggs. This is the plant that last year had monarch caterpillars on it. Maybe?
