In-camera HDR

Before I captured this moment I had been recording a jigsaw puzzle with the snowy deck behind and decided I really needed an HDR treatment which requires taking several shots that are combined into one. If the subject moves you wind up with a blurry shot. When I spied the red bellied I grabbed my fasting focusing camera and shot, hoping the settings would be all right and pressed shutter button not checking them. When I heard "click click click" I knew I had captured an in-camera hdr image but doubted it would be all right because I wasn't careful to hold the camera setting and the bird was moving. I was astounded that this was the result.!

I adore this camera for shooting birds. It locks focus faster than any other camera I own. If you know a little bit about camera settings like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, etc. and want to get good bird shots AND ARE WILLING TO PUT SOME TIME AND EFFORT INTO READING A HOW-TO e-book and are willing to learn a little bit more than basic photo editing, it's hard to do better than the Sony RX10iv. It's been around for 4 years, I think and still is selling for its original price, which is an indication of how much it is valued.
