I had intended to grow this eggplant hydroponically, from seed I purchased this Konasu Eggplant seed from Kitazawa Seed Company. I chose this variety because it produces a very small eggplant. Turned out that hydroponics and I don't mix very well, so I planted it in soil. It is growing under fluorescent light. Little did I know that eggplant is self-pollinating! Lucky me!
