caterpillar outside

Rehomed onto salvia leaf. I suspect I really don't want this caterpillar around. Do you know what it is?

After a bit of research I think this may be a geometrid, a caterpillar that mimics a twig. Doesn't it do a great job?

It is indeed a Geometrid caterpillar though I don't know which species. They are perfect twig mimics. Fantastic shot.
