Tomorrow, the all-important sliding fried egg test!
I find these steel scrubbers the best for cleaning out debris from carbon steel and cast iron pans. I bought a large bag of them at Sam's. Very price-worthy.
I wish I hadn't used a metal spatula before this pan was well seasoned, leaving scratch marks on it.
I gave up on it. Not only could I not get it properly seasoned, but it also was way too heavy - I think about five pounds.
