I never know what surprises I will find among my YouTube video suggestions. Last night it was Navajo Fry Bread, and I've been watching a bunch of videos for the recipes, each one a little different from the others, but I learned enough to combine the best of each and was definitely successful. These were fried in lard that I had purchased for my bird feeding. I have never fried anything in lard before. Was surprised that the bread was so light and non-saturated with the lard. It was delicious. Can't suggest any one Fry Bread recipe, but suggest you go to YouTube and see which method appeals to you. (I served mine with chili that I had made in my Instant Pot.)
