P9210035 Many Names

They were selling a few plants at the North Carolina Arboretum yesterday and I picked up this nematanthus which was labeled as a "Guppy" plant.

Back in the days when I was a member of the American Gesneriad and Gloxinia Society, we called it "nematanthus" or "hypocyrta". Lots of names for a very enjoyable relative of the African Violet.

Very pretty but very different looking than an African Violet.
