SRX00804 I feel better now....

Several weeks ago an acquaintance reached out to me and asked me to photograph her wedding. I accepted with trepidation and decided to say "yes", but planned on shooting it with my Sony A7iii. I bought the Sony HVL-F60RM flash, "just in case the venue was too dark", even though the A7iii handles noise very nicely at the higher ISOs required in low-light areas, I prefer the better color I get with lower ISOs and the flash will allow that.

Since the RX10 iv is great with this flash, I will bring it as a back up to the A7iii which I will use because of its better dynamic range...and I will deal with the skin color in PPing.

The skin colors are indeed good in this, although I'd be hesitant to use the RX10 for something as important as a wedding. But then, I'd be hesitant to do a wedding at all!

I think it's 100% right, a very beautiful portrait, the colors are perfect, especially no reflection from the glasses … you did a great choice, I'd surely use the flash for ALL indoor shots, either reflected from the ceilings or the walls. Bill looks in great shape BTW, well done Isabel

Great portrait. Love the peaceful expression. v
