With its deep depth of field you stand a better chance of getting something in focus than you do with a regular camera. I couldn't see the lcd very well outside even at maximum brightness, so I tapped in the area where I THOUGHT the katydid nymph was, and EUREKA it was in focus. (Not all phone cameras have the ability to focus where you tap on the screen. After I achieve focus, I lightly tapped the camera icon on my Samsung Note 4 to capture the image. This is heavily cropped.
