I missed this phenomenal shot. Amazing detail in this lovely image. I only see these occasionally and it is always a treat to see the ingenuity at work... who'd think this was made by a wasp! V

Never seen one of these, but sure looks like pottery, appropriate named wasp. We get little red cone shaped galls on oak leaves. Great shot and education!
