P5200003 "Oh no...

He's falling off!" was my first reaction when checking my little, seemingly undersized caterpillar this morning. It was still pretty dark in the kitchen since it wasn't yet full daylight and I had to rely on the under cabinet light. Flash was out of the question because it would reflect off the plastic container.

Can you imagine my delight when I spied the telltale sling from which the new chrysalis was hanging?,
