I used to grow these under fluorescent lights. It fascinated me that I could start new plants with just a wedge of one of the leaves. Of course, they could also be started from its tiny seed, but growing from a wedge was just as much fun.

I lost a whole bunch of them, I assumed, when my light stand plants were hit by aphids, inadvertently brought into the house on a geranium plant which was in another room.
