The GX7 flash is amazingly strong when bounced. This room has a vaulted ceiling that at its peak is about 12 ft. high, yet the flash was strong enough to light Beegie in the dark room, which I approximated in the shot at the left.

Finding a comfortable way to hold back the spring-mounted flash is tricky. I was holding it with my right forefinger but wound up initiating a video, so I switched to my left forefinger stretching it across the viewfinder.
