Needing a longer fast lens for an upcoming convention shoot, and having sold my Canon 135 f/2 because I rarely used it, I looked at my remaining lenses and thought the Tamron f/2.8 macro might be up to the job and took it out to "fire it up", since it hadn't been used in a long time.
Worked fine through my kitchen window, but was a little short for the feeder, which is about 14 feet from the window. I had to crop the image severely and this represents only about 1/5 of the image dimensions.
