_9290008 Some say it's an eyesore

What do you think? (I'm not one of its fans.)
This newly constructed artwork graces the entryway to Main Street, in "Historic" Hendersonville, North Carolina. Seems like every town around here is "historic".
There doesn't seem to be any angle from which to shoot to make this creation look attractive.
