Strange that I didn't study this with last year's blossoms, but I noticed that in the morning the petals were nicely unfurled, but at 11:00 they were starting to curl up, and at about 2:10 they were tightly curled. When the sun goes down they will unfurl - at least they did so yesterday! Click on "next" to see how the petals opened up by evening!
