It's a little mentioned perk in the Olympus PEN cameras - the ability to pull the flash back and bounce it off a wall or ceiling.

We've been having a discussion of fill flash for backlit subjects in the Yahoo Digipets photography group and I remembered that my E-PL1 has this feature, which I only used once or twice.

Whipped it out and bounced it off my laundry room ceiling, even though I knew the light would be blocked by the counter under which Beegie was sleeping.

Picture still came out great. (Oh how I love not having to fuss with that gorgeous Olympus jpg color.)
