Nice story behind the acquisition of this rose bush:

I was standing at the gas pump filling my car when a scruffy looking pair of guys walked over from their pickup and asked me if I'd like a pair of rose bushes. They said the wind was tearing the bushes apart and it would be better if they went to a good home before they were ruined.
