Minus compensation was not necessary for the dining room, but I didn't want the background blown out - but it still was overexposed. Selected it and darkened it with a highlight adjustment in Photoshop.
Noise reduction with Noise Ninja. I am extremely pleased with the color from the LX3. I do have tinted windows which tend to cause too much cyan in my images, so I either do a color balance adjustment in Photoshop or desaturate the cyan.
