Carolina Wren Eggs

I had to hold the foliage away from the nest opening in order to take this shot one-handed (with flash obviously) The plant is a thai basil and as you can see in the previous image I had chopped off a bunch to use for cooking. It is extremely hot on my deck and this pot is watered every morning. I didn't give it a full drink and sprinkled with a gentle flow away from the nest. I don't want to soak the poor things.

Neat! Try to avoid taking pictures of the young when they hatch. Disturbing the nest after they hatch often causes the parent to harm the chicks or force them to leave the nest before they are ready to fledge.

That happens to one hanging plant I have quite often. They look like pretty big eggs!

Very pretty eggs! I don't see why you can't just keep on watering gently while the nest is occupied.
