Security Fence

As a kid I never remember losing a bike lock.
Mom would put the key on a string and you would wear it like a dogtag.
If you did not come home with that lock you were in big dodo....It cost .25 cents you know.
I guess now a days the kids just don't care...I found enough locks in this school yard
that if I had all the cash from them I could buy a new D3..maybe even a lens or two to boot.
With all the locks I see like this I could by all my friends on PBase a D3!!!!
If I could only find the keys...I would be selling them back to the parents after school!!!

Neat find. Probably one kind had the idea of leaving the lock at school and pretty soon everybody was doing it...

Maybe they just are keeping them until they come back! Love it! Looks to me like they may be making a statement, like screw the bikes...buy me a car!!

Nice find Mike - you can sign me up for one of those D3's as well

A D3 for me please!!!! I would even say thank you by helping take the locks off the fence! As for the image - good eye! Most would just drive on by!

Great find Mike. Says a lot about todays world too. Heck, I didn't even need a lock.

And I'll take you up on the D3 offer :-)

So are these fences full of bikes normally? Don't they know how easy it is to cut chain link? I can almost do it with a pair of lineman's pliers. Not that I've ever stolen a bike. Damn, now Jim is going to be on my back about this... ;)

Wow great image Mike. Well seen and captured. Does tell a story doesn't it?
