Show Me Heaven

A half Moon starts to set behind this little church just outside of Saskatoon.
Clouds move in with a gentle breeze partly covering the night sky.
This church not used in the winter and only on few occasion's in the Summer sits in a yard
only covered by animal tracks in the fresh snow....Man has yet to disturb the newly fallen snow.
I only approach from a spot as not to make any tracks that would otherwise be captured by a wide angle lens.
The crop is hard to see in the dark and I know this will produce a "Keystone" affect on the image.
Working this church from this angle you have to deal with the city lights in the back ground and a street light on the corner.
With 133s of shutter time I "Paint " the church and let the "Magic of The Night" do the rest........

Excellent work Mike with the long exposure. Just the way I like it, nice and wide. "V"

Outstanding shot Mike. The combination of light sources really makes for an otherworldly look. ~V~

I think the tombstones off to the right help set the tone of this image. Great job!

I absolutely love this; the church has an ethereal glow, and the sky is quite surreal too; great stuff Mike.

Quaint little spot so near the city - makes for a nice 'paint job' BZ-V!
