The Yellow Room With Orange Chair

Some times you just hit big and I mean real big.....I call them the "Mother Load" homes, this is such a place........
It had it all, ringer washer, old boots, T.V. , chairs you name it I bet I would have found it.
This room hit me like a ton O bricks....lol.....Yellow and lots of it with this Orange print chair.....
I just can't imagine what they were thinking of when they decorated this room.
Beyond this was a purple room, you can see it off to the right and a pink and blue room...wow the colors!!!
The outside of this home did not give any indication what was to be found beyond it's doors.....
Yup some days you just find the "Mother Load"......................

A wonderful presentation .... such decay and grungy colours and textures. Where do you find these places???? Great shot. Voted.

Rustic Retro! What a cool find and a perfect capture, a great subject for a skilled fisheye shooter. ~V~

Oh yes! Steve's right - tension aplenty here!! And not just because of this strong and bold composition - any house that has that many vivid colours must be a tad 'unrestful' shall we say!! But your use of the fish-eye is superb in the way it centres the frame on the empty, waiting chair...brilliant! V+

I look forward to seeing the rest Mike - this is indeed quite a find. I am not sure why, but I find the composition, with the lone chair facing the door, to have alot of tension. A very strong image!~V~

Oh yeah! What a find! I'm going to have to start looking for some old houses too but most have barbed wire surrounding them around here....excellent work! BraVo! Wanna see more!

Must have been a sale on 'those' fun colours; and who knows they come back in fashion again :)
Sweet shot of that bland place :-) BV
