A Secondary Highway

A great friend of mine Bobby Scott copyrights his images asecondaryhighway.com
I think it's a great name...no a fantastic name as we are always on a secondary highway
somewhere to get these images. I set the tripod and camera smack dab in the middle of the highway
to capture this image. Working the highway and the buildings with my 2 million candle power light.
I let the city lights glow and burn into the background on this image.
I have had this shot in the back of my mine for sometime now and along with the title to pay tribute to Bobby Scott.
The buildings had to be on each side of the highway which would really make this shot.
I also needed at least 4 mins. with out any traffic..but being on this secondary highway was no problem with that.

I love that you have the city glow off in the distance. I know exactly what you mean by having a shot in the back of your mind for a while. It's just one of those, "I've got to shoot this" moments that you should never ignore.
