60 Cents a Gallon

Were do you buy gas for 60 cents a gallon I ask?
Why in a Ghost Town of course. I would bet there is not even a gallon in the
tank any more, but the pump still shows 60 cents. You very seldom find a gas pump
in a Ghost Town and rare they are this one sit's by the old gas station on main street Bayard SK.
Not much left in Bayard just this gas station, town hall, old store and a few homes.

This is great Mike. I love that it didn't even have provision for anything over 99cents.

This ia one of the best so far, in my opinion. What a great old town. I really need to get up there.

Ghosts use less gas that's for sure. I remember paying about 50 cents for gas until about 1980. I'd fill up my VW rabbit for $5 when it was lost empty. Cigarettes were also 50 cents out of a machine and so was a burger and fries at the college co-op. Very cool find Mike!

Great POV Mike...at that price a holiday in Saskatchewan might be in order.
