Not Fire Proof

We just sent a 24H motorgrader back to the customer about 10 days ago.....
This is what a 24H looks like after it burns up...no this not the one we sent back just 10 days ago.
We don't know how the fire started and we may never know...but it is here for a rebuild.
Cat has replaced this model 24H with the 24M and it takes over 6 months to get one.
So the customer wants this one rebuilt....

Haha fire extinguishers are completely untouched... however, at least nice textures for photograph :) voted!

I don't know Mike...I am starting to wonder about the number of Cat owners who seem to think that the operating instructions include, heat until brown. Vatorman is right though, the rebuild would make a great series.

I was going to make a comment about job security - buts its taken! I have heard of rebuilds before - but not after a fire! Steel gets brittle after a good heating does it not? Ahhhh yes... Job security!!!LOL!!!

And yet the fire extinguishers are completely untouched by fire or man…(the rebuild would be a great subject for a time-lapse.)

Think of it as job security :-) They sure look ugly after they get cooked!

That's the diffrence between you and me. I would put it on the tree lawn for the trash guys to pick up.
