Isla Espirito Santos, Baja
The id of this bird is controversial. A couple of people said that it could be a Brown-crested
flycatcher. However, the 2 species are very difficult to distinguish from one another. I have
a positive id for an Ash-throated found in Sacramento and I have another photo of this bird that
shows the 2 to be nearly identical. If you can see a distinguishing field mark,
please leave a comment!
