Nylsvley, South Africa

Seen on the walkway to one of the hides. Literally translated
it means a "burn worm", and if your skin comes into contact with
the hairs on the worm, it burns and itches. Don't know if it has
another "real" name in English :)

One landed on my neck. Burns like hell not to even mention the itching. Had to use anti histamine for a week. And the burning at times feels like hot acid under the skin

I'll bet it's been called quite a few things, in english and afrikaans ;o) A real beauty, love the red and pure white.
