Amtrak Depot, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.jpg

Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

No doubt a much-promoted destination by The Milwaukee Road through the years, right up until Amtrak took over passenger services in 1971.
Known as Kilbourn City until 1931, when the name was changed for the sake of tourism promotion in the face of the Great Depression. The original Milwaukee Road Depot was destroyed in a coal-train derailment on July 4, 1982 and, notwithstanding attempts by Amtrak to drop services, after 7 years of fundraising to build the station. It was opened for service in 1989.
Amtrak passengers for the Empire Builder train running between Chicago and Seattle use this depot.
Westbound train arrives just before 6pm, Eastbound train arrives around 11:45am

other sizes: small medium large original auto
