Aplying an extremely tight crop is a great way to simplify an image. Brings out the colors and texture of the feathers very nicely!

Again, I love the close crop here...the feather shapes, patterns, and coloring are really eye-catching! Very nice lighting too. I really like what you saw and captured here, Katherine...nice photo! MFC
